Included in this album are the E&N Baldwin Locomotives which served the island from 1949-1975. 12 units were assigned to Vancouver Island numbered 8000-8012. All units were scrapped in 1975 except for #8000 which was preserved by the CPR and now resides at the West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish, British Columbia. Also included in this album are CP Rail and CN operations in the 1980s including CP and VIA Rail Budd RDC's (Rail Diesel Cars) know as "The Dayliner" — This was sadly the last true railroading era of the E&N.
